This site will help you organise your event, whether you're organising a shave event whether it's just you and a couple of friends, or a larger group.
The most important thing is for you to raise as much money as possible for the Leukaemia Foundation along the way.
Why Shave
Every hour of every day someone in Australia is diagnosed with leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma.
Currently, more than 30,000 Australians are living with one of these cancers but only 4 out of 10 adults survive.
Lymphoma is the fifth most common cancer in this country, and the number of people affected has doubled in the last 20 years.
The money you raise from the Leukaemia Foundation World's Greatest Shave will directly support patients and their families when they need it most.
- Your sponsorship total will provide them with a free 'home-away-from-home' near hospital during their treatment.
- It will also mean the Leukaemia Foundation can transport them to appointments and provide as much practical assistance and emotional support as we can, all free of charge.
- The money you raise will also go towards research into better treatments and cures.
