DWS cuts a cool $40,000
The team at DWS Advanced Business Solutions in Melbourne got in early to raise $40,000 for the World’s Greatest Shave.
A group of keen staff approached CEO, Danny Wallis, who initially guaranteed $20,000 but doubled it to encourage Ben Sorahan, Harshil Parikh, Jeremy Street, Philip Iglesias, Aung Pedroni and Ozgur Uysal to shave their heads.
“Once Danny made the offer there was no way we were going to say no. The boys jumped at the opportunity and our long flowing locks are now just a memory,” said Ben.
Danny said he was happy to support the Leukaemia Foundation, “I think it’s a fantastic organisation, doing great work throughout the community.”
