What’s my Profile Page?
Your Profile Page is the page people see when they search for you on the website to sponsor you.
You should personalise your page with a photo and a description of your reasons for taking part. This will help to persuade people to sponsor you.
People can post comments on your page and sponsor you online.

Where do I send you my before and after photographs?
You can add it to the website yourself. Sign in to your Fundraising Page and follow the instructions to upload it. We do not accept photos by email or post.
What picture formats can I upload?
If you would like to upload your own photo, please ensure you have the image saved on your computer. Accepted file types are jpg and gif.
How big can the photo be?
Your image should be no larger than 350k in file size. If you would like to upload your own photo, please ensure you have the image saved on your computer.
How do I make my photo smaller?
Often photos taken by digital cameras are too large to be viewed on this website. If you plan on uploading a photo to your Profile Page, you may need to make a smaller copy on your computer first. Try these tips:
- Adjust the image quality setting on your digital camera to take photos at a smaller resolution, such as 800x600 or smaller. This may make them small enough to upload.
- Does your digital camera come with image editing software? If it's installed on your computer, open the software and follow the instructions to resize your photos. Remember to Save As a different file name so as not to overwrite your original (large) photo. Always save the photo in JPG/JPEG format
- Try using the free website www.resize2mail.com to upload and reduce the size of your photo.
Can I upload a business logo (if I have a business team)?
Yes, please ensure you have the image saved on your computer. Your image should be no larger than 350k in file size. Accepted file types are jpg and gif.
Once I’ve added photos or my message, how do I make changes?
Just Sign in to your Fundraising Page and use the tabs at the top and the menu items on the left to make any changes you need.
Team Captains also have a Team Tab, so they can make changes to the Team’s photo, message and goal.
Can I upload videos?
Yes. We have a new upgraded media player which shows You Tube videos as well as photos on your profile page.
We're very excited as many people video their shaves - and now they will be able to show them thanks to You Tube!
The photos are still there - and another improvement is that you can upload 3 or more photos now.
To make changes and upload photos and videos: Sign in - and go to Customise Profile Page.
Why can’t I see my photo?
The videos show first on your Profile page. People need to click the word photos to see your photos.
If you don't want to see any videos on your Profile page - Sign in - go to Customise Profile Page and click the little red disable button next to each of our videos.
Then only photos will appear on your profile page (because there are no videos selected).
If you DO want to upload a video to You Tube - follow the instructions on the Customise Profile Page area - and once you have a video to show that will display first and the photos will be second.
