Kimberley Busteed returns to support World’s Greatest Shave
Twenty year old former Miss Universe Australia and media personality Kimberley Busteed, knows first hand the important role the Leukaemia Foundation plays in the lives of patients and their families.
Kimberley’s older brother Corey was diagnosed with leukaemia in 1995. As there were no treatment facilities available in her hometown Gladstone, her family had to move to Brisbane for Corey’s treatment.
“The Leukaemia Foundation’s ESA Village became our home-away-from-home in Brisbane and was such a blessing for our family.”
“Although Corey tragically passed away in 1996, my family and I were given a wonderful insight into how the Foundation helps families in need.
“Corey is my inspiration. I believe everything happens for a reason, and if not for Corey I wouldn’t appreciate how important the Leukaemia Foundation is. Please support the Leukaemia Foundation, particularly through the fun and exciting event, World’s Greatest Shave!” said Kimberley.
Kimberley Busteed will be the face of the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave 2009 in Queensland.
